A global retailer is recruiting a Regional Vice President of IT to partner with the global CIO and North America CEO to lead all technology operations in North America, which accounts for a large percentage of the company’s global footprint.

The Regional VP of IT will partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure that technology services and operations enable the business to perform optimally, and that the wider global IT strategy meets the needs of the North America business.

We require a unique leader who truly integrates themselves with the business at all levels to understand the operations, whilst also driving innovation at a strategic level so that business stakeholders are aware of technology/digitally led opportunities in the industry and beyond.

The role will lead a team of 120+ across IT Operations, Cloud, Data, InfoSec, Business Engagement and PMO.

The business is at the start of a significant technology and digital modernisation journey, moving from legacy on prem applications, to best in class SAAS/ERP solutions, which will enable the business to continually innovate and deliver an exceptional service to their customers. Experience leading businesses through SAAS/ERP modernisation and cloud adoption journeys will be hugely advantageous.

Ideal Candidate

VP IT / CIO profile with proven experience leading a breadth of IT functions/capabilities to delivery a first-class IT Service whilst enabling a business’ long-term strategic goals through technology.

Experience successfully taking a business through a cloud-first technology journey.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills up to C-level. Capable of understanding business needs, translating them into technology strategy, and executing successfully.

Experience leading a business through a legacy modernisation program, to best-in-class ERP / SAAS solutions would be advantageous.

Demonstrable experience of the above points, in a large, complex $bn+ revenue company.
