Merchandising Manager
Description:
Onward Search is hiring an Account Manager/Sales for our global ecommerce tech client on a contract for 7-12 months.

Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing category strategy, including aspects such as pricing, inventory management, and promotional activities.
Manage deals, key cultural events, and retail moments relevant to the category and our customer base.
Analyze category performance and generate actionable recommendations for enhancement and optimization.
Collaborate with Account and Category Managers to execute strategic initiatives comprehensively, aiming to enhance both buyer and seller satisfaction.
Contribute to the conceptualization and adoption of features to enhance the on-site user experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-4 years of demonstrated experience in buying, merchandising, or category management within the retail or consumer products sector, with a mandatory background in e-commerce.
A strong passion for ecommerce, coupled with a wider interest and experience in the field, along with established relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Driven by a desire for growth, possessing an entrepreneurial mindset geared towards achieving agreed-upon metrics.
Proficient in influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
Effective communication skills in both large and small group settings.
Bachelor's degree required.
Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen within a complex data environment, capable of extracting insights to inform program performance, identify trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
