The Department of Radiology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) in Columbus, OH, seeks a pediatric fellowship-trained, CAQ-certified or eligible Pediatric Emergency (Night) Radiologist to join a growing group of 30+ faculty who provide care in all subspecialties of pediatric radiology. Our group has a strong commitment to excellence in clinical care, camaraderie, and innovation. We encourage applications from trainees completing their fellowship in 2024 and practicing radiologists of all academic levels. The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be clinical, providing overnight imaging care as part of a collegial team of radiologists and clinical providers committed to their patients via a One Team approach. The Emergency Radiologist will preferably work on-site at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Main campus, though remote coverage could be considered. The overnight shift reads exams from either 9 or 10p - 7a. The typical rotation is 7 days on, followed by 14 days off. Our very desirable and competitive compensation package awards an additional $100,000 annual premium for this shift. Work just seventeen weeks of the year with full-time compensation and benefits!

The department has 5 pediatric fellowships available in General Diagnostic, Body, Interventional, Cardiac Imaging, and Neuro Radiology. In addition, NCH serves as the academic teaching hospital for residents in The Ohio State University Radiology, The Ohio State University Pediatrics, University of Toledo Medical Center, and Larkin Community Hospital residency programs.
