Associate Attorney

Plunk Smith PLLC is looking for a dynamic associate with litigation and contract negotiation skills. Case subject matter will include business disputes, personal injury defense, and franchise law issues. Training will be provided, but experience handing litigation is required. Responsibilities

Legal fact and basic legal research

Assist with case management

Organize and electronically file pleadings

Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

Take depositions and attend hearings

Qualifications

Law Degree from accredited law school; Texas law license

At least four years of litigation experience

Familiarity with Microsoft Office & time entry software
