Job Title: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Company: Our client is a fast-paced, clinical-stage biotech company specializing in innovative therapies for cancer patients with rare tumors. They are currently in pivotal phase II and phase II/III development for their lead products. As a Senior MSL, you’ll play a crucial role in advancing their mission to bring cutting-edge treatments to cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Scientific Relationship Building:
Establish strong relationships with major academic institutions, academic key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external experts.
Scientific Exchange:
Maintain an advanced level of knowledge about relevant studies, compounds, and diseases to facilitate peer-to-peer scientific exchange with oncology thought leaders.
Resource for Partners:
Serve as a medical/scientific resource to external and internal partners, including clinical trial sites and the Clinical Development & Operations organization.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and maintain a territory strategic and tactical plan aligned with Medical Affairs (MA) goals.
Insight Reporting:
Identify and report strategic and business-relevant scientific/medical field insights.
Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally to support shared company goals.
Represent the Company:
Attend medical/scientific conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings, providing insights and summaries.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on new scientific developments in oncology and understand global market trends.
Compliance:
Conduct all activities in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Scientific Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of oncology therapeutic areas.
Industry Experience:
At least 5 years of previous industry experience in an MSL role.
