We are seeking a full-time Electrical Technical Support Manager based in Katy, Texas, or the broader Houston, Texas, area. If you are willing to relocate, we welcome your application as well!

Required Qualifications:

Must have working knowledge and hands-on experience with LV/MV Switchgear.

Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Or be a licensed journeyman electrician in lieu of an Associate’s degree.

Willingness to travel up to 40-50% of the time to client sites.

3-5 years of experience in electrical construction and/or previous experience as a field service technician/engineer/electrician and/or a field application engineer. Or any similar position

3-5 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience in industrial electrical power generation equipment. Such as Bus Ducts, LV and MV Switchgear, Motor Control Centers, and Dry and LV transformers.

Ability to read and understand electrical single line and GA drawings from both LV and MV systems, Transformers, MCC, and Bus Duct

Be located in Katy, Texas, or the broader Houston, Texas, area or willing to relocate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver impactful pre- and post-sales support to our internal sales team. Craft compelling technical and commercial presentations that resonate with clients.

Provide exceptional pre- and post-sales product support to customers and our partner network. This may involve traveling to client sites to ensure their success (travel as required).

Ensure the integrity of our products by meticulously testing and verifying functionality upon receipt and return (percentage checking).

Develop winning customer quotes aligned with company standards and leveraging pre-built templates for efficiency.

Foster strong relationships by keeping meticulous records of all support interactions and discussions with partners.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records for seamless interactions.

Continually empower our internal sales staff with expert product knowledge and support.

Keep the CTO informed of all support and product issues through concise weekly updates.

This role profile highlights the main outputs and does not include every task, duty or responsibility.

Salary, Compensation, and Benefits:

100k to 120k base salary + 10k to 15k in Bonus. No OT.

Preferred Qualifications:

Commercial acumen and understanding, including the ability to deal with clients at all levels of management at both a technical and commercial level.

Knowledge of Modbus communication protocols and fault finding of integrated systems.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations (e.g., National Electrical Code - NEC).

Knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio

Knowledge and/or experience with temperature measurement, IR Scanning, and/or thermal monitoring in industrial electrical power generation equipment.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Quick, agile, confident, and thoughtful, with the ability to bring new thinking and ideas.

Well-organized with the ability to plan a workload to achieve deadlines.

Ability to work both in a team and alone when necessary.

Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative and proactive manner.
