Junior Financial Analyst

Trenchant Analytics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Financial Analyst to support the Navy. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial analysis within the Department of Defense (DoD) preferably Navy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 3+ years of experience in financial analysis within the DoD, preferably Navy.

Experience with DoD financial management systems and processes such as WAWF, N-ERP, PBIS etc.

Strong understanding of government contracting and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Possess Secret government security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting to track program expenditures and forecast future financial requirements.

Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.

Provide financial support to program leadership for decision-making.

Track budgets, costs, and variances.
