Description:

Top law firm with a national presence has an IMMEADIATE opening for a Litigation Legal Assistant with at least 3 years of experience. The position supports four attorneys at the firm's downtown Denver office who specialize in personal injury/insurance defense, commercial litigation, and construction defect.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and format various legal documents (pleadings, discovery, motions, etc.)

E-File in state and federal courts.

Docketing/calendaring deadlines.

Schedule court dates, depositions, and meetings.

Proofread correspondence, court filings, and other documents.

Assist with trial preparation.

Handle timekeeping entries for attorneys and assist with client billing.

Book travel arrangements and generate expense reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience supporting multiple attorneys in a law firm setting.

Substantial experience with docketing and e-filing in state and federal courts via CCES and CM/ECF.

Knowledge of Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

Strong computer skills and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.

Excellent legal writing, formatting, and proofreading skills.

Applicants must CURRENTLY reside in the Denver metro area and be able to commute daily to the firm's office in downtown Denver.
