Commercial Litigation Attorney - AM LAW

I am currently working with a leading international AM LAW top 100 firm, who are actively looking to recruit a commercial litigation attorney to join their Chicago office.

Responsibilities:

This role will manage class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.

Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations.

Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.

Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top tier accredited law school.

Admitted to the Illinois state bar.

3+ years of commercial litigation experience - ideally gained in a large law firm setting.

Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
