Position Title: Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer

Location: Hybrid, Washington, D.C.

This role will be primarily remote, however candidates must be available to report on-site at DOT Headquarters within 1 business day at the request of the Government, thus will need to be local to the DMV area.

Position Overview: Indev is seeking an experienced Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer to join one of our federal projects supporting Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your previous Salesforce development experience and expertise. Your in-depth understanding of state models will be used to build workflow applications used to integrate external data.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Modernize the capabilities offered by National Consumer Complaint Database (NCCDB) using the Salesforce Platform.

Provide an avenue to consumers, drivers and industry professionals to submit a complaint through telephone, email and web, at a minimum, for various complaint types and categories, and track the complaint through its lifecycle.

Authenticate internal FMCSA users using DOT MyAccess solution, and users external to FMCSA using Login.gov

Implement a workflow that tracks the complaint as it moves through the handling process and allows FMCSA personnel to respond to complaints in an effective manner

Integrate with the data platform to store and/or retrieve information relevant to the complaint.

Migrate the existing complaint data to the new platform.

Utilize MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform to design, develop and orchestrate APIs, and implement the new data exchange platform for FMCSA.

Work closely with the Software Architect and other technical team members, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts in developing solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

7 years of functional experience (5+ focused on Salesforce development using Apex and Visualforce)

5 years of specialized experience (3+ implementing in Platform, Service and Experience Cloud)

Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API

Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications

Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as scrum, user story creation

Experience integrating with MuleSoft and data pipelines

UI/UX development experience based on Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Experience with Salesforce automation tools

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional

Preferred certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant

Currently hold a Public Trust clearance with Department of Transportation
