Our projects spanning over 20 years are a mix of luxury single family homes and condominiums with some commercial and they range from modern contemporary styles to major historic renovations. Our firm's work is characterized by highly customized designs, sophistication and craftsmanship.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in our Design District studio for an Interior Designer at Mike Stake Studio LLC located in Miami, FL. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and creating functional and aesthetic interior spaces for clients. They will collaborate internally and with contractors, craft partners and clients to determine design objectives, create designs plans, select materials and furnishings, and ensure that projects meet industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Interior Designer, Drafter, Architect and/or Project Manger

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp

Ability to create detailed design plans and effectively communicate design concepts to clients

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong knowledge of design principles and color theory

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of Florida building codes and regulations

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about interior design and delivering world class service to our clients. You are an enthusiastic team player with excellent CAD/Graphic and communication skills and are an organized individual capable of multi-tasking. Proven experience working with Revit is ideal.
