The Human Resources Generalist, under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and in support of the HR function, is responsible for creating, updating, and applying all HR policies and company guidelines in accordance with all federal, state, and statutory laws.
This role will be instrumental in supporting Talent Acquisition including coordinating campus hiring as well as experienced hires.
The Generalist will manage multiple HR Systems, working closely with the finance team to seamlessly bridge the system integration between the payroll and HR systems. Streamlining processes will be a key function of this role.
Job Scope:
Create and manage the talent acquisition plan according to operation and sales projections.
Create tools to support the talent acquisition process to include technology platforms, candidate collateral, interview guides and evaluations, and process training.
Manage the onboarding process including facilitating new hire orientation, processing new hire paperwork and benefit administration in compliance with HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
Execute defined employee engagement plans such as recognition programs, external events, learning sessions, communication plans, and internal awareness campaigns.
Collaborate with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards including the DEI agenda and complete regular ESG reporting.
Manage execution of performance review process by providing coaching to managers on evaluating, documenting, and providing feedback on employee performance.
Maintain all employee digital files, documents, benefits, and attendance records.
Manage benefit administration to include maintaining benefit portal, assisting employees with benefit inquiries, processing all benefit enrollment and changes and reconciling benefit statements.
Manage all employee payroll related changes and work with finance team to ensure all changes are accurately reflected each payroll.
Provide HR reports from HRIS and ATS and other systems to make data driven decisions.
Conduct initial investigations for HR based transactional issues.
Manage and track compliance of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA and other employment laws.
Manage, track and document all employee leave requests.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in HR project or operational role
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting a government professional services organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
