What will your role be?

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining, installing, and commissioning signaling and electrical equipment utilized in rail and subway systems. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of field equipment, test according to customer specifications and validate the system for perfect commissioning.

Activities:

Conducting tests on signaling rail equipment, including interlocking systems, train control systems, and signaling control systems.

Performing pre-commissioning checks and tests on all equipment to ensure readiness for commissioning.

Configuring and programming signaling equipment according to project requirements.

Commissioning signaling systems and ensuring they operate according to design specifications.

Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during testing and commissioning.

Documenting test results, commissioning procedures, and any issues encountered during testing and commissioning.

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning signaling rail equipment.

Experience with various signaling systems, including interlocking systems, train control systems, and signaling control systems.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Customer service-oriented mindset with effective verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with specific signaling equipment, such as ETCS, CBTC, or conventional signaling systems.
