Based in Hollywood, FL, Sintavia, LLC designs and additively manufactures critical components for the Aerospace, Defense, & Space industry.

We are seeking a career-minded individual for the position of IT Systems Administrator, preferably someone who is looking for long-term growth and potential. In addition to the job description below, candidates must possess strong customer service skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task at a quick pace. Being a team player is a must!

SUMMARY: Maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, networks and security. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute to the IT Strategy through the completion of assigned Projects

Maintain, develop & support all Sintavia’s corporate and operations IT infrastructure

Develop and implement IT standards, procedures & documentation while participating in audits & remediation works

Scope, research, implement & support multiple technologies

Troubleshooting of complex problems

Taking corrective action in a timely manner with the assistance of vendors when required

Troubleshoot issues and outage

Ensure security best practice though access controls, back-ups and firewalls

Upgrade systems with new releases

Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

Problem identification, incident management

Scripting to provide a reliable and scalable automation

Desktop support as needed

After hours and weekend work as needed

Able to Travel to different Site offices

Assist in other tasks as required by the Director of Information Technology

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated ability to balance department efficiency and service excellence

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively

Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers

Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups

Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and detail oriented

Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Able to maintain a professional demeanor and a polished professional appearance

Virtualization - VMware vSphere, Hyper-V

Microsoft Server Environments (Windows Server, AD, Domain Services, File services, DHCP, DNS)

Microsoft Desktop environments (Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 365)

Microsoft Office 365 – Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive for Business, Intune

Dell Hardware - Servers, desktops, laptops

Networking & Firewalls (Dell Power connect Switches, Meraki switches and Access points, SonicWALL and Barracuda Firewalls)

Backup technology - Veeam Backup & Replication, Tape autoloaders

SAN & Storage systems (Dell EMC Compellent, Synology NAS)

IT Security (Best Practices & Hands-On Experience)

Cloud Administration in AWS (EC2, S3) or Microsoft Azure

Microsoft Server Applications - SQL, IIS

Systems monitoring software – PRTG

Multi factor authentication - DUO

Security - Sophos Central endpoint security, SIEM, Vulnerability management, Mimecast, NIST, CIS Control

Must be able to learn procedures quickly and be a team player

Easily adapt to new organizations / technical environments

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

Project management on small to medium projects

Must be able to perform a variety of routine tasks and demonstrate a good working knowledge of equipment, procedures and working with common hand tools

CERTIFICATIONS:

VMware Certified Professional

Cisco Certified Network Associate

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator

Linux Fundamentals

PREFERRED:

CAD software – Siemens NX, Solid works

Additive Manufacturing ops software – Materialise Magics, EOS

PLM – Siemens Teamcenter

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl

Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read

technical information, and/or use a keyboard

Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds

Work on Specialized equipment
