Pay Range: $30 - $36/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct development activities related to developing oral formulations
Design and optimize formulation using design of experience approach
Conduct material characterization
The incumbent will be working 10% to 20% of the time in an office environment.
The incumbent will be working 80% to 90% of the time in a manufacturing and/or laboratory setting.
The incumbent may travel between NJ sites Summit and New Brunswick sites to access different laboratories and equipment for the execution of experiments.

Position Handles Hazardous Materials
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Knowledge of oral solid dose formulation development and unit operations including powder blending, milling, granulation, tablet compression and film-coating
Knowledge of data trending and tracking, including use of statistical analysis software a plus.
Demonstrate advanced problem-solving ability / mentality, technical adeptness, and logical thinking.
Ability to communicate honestly, transparently, and effectively with peers, department management and cross functional peers.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
Previous experience working in oral solid formulation and process development.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
Experience conducting powder characterization including powder flow, particle size analysis
