Principal Data Engineer

Responsibilities

with fellow data engineering and cross-functional data teams to build and deliver custom enterprise data warehousing and database applications.

Skills and Experience:

knowledge of data engineering, database solution design, solid principles of data modeling.

10+ years in data engineering and database technologies

in developing reusable common component data artifacts.

with Data Engineering and Cloud products

in various Data Engineering Methodologies

in data security best practices

in data accessibility best practices

problem solving and collaboration skills

verbal and written communication skills

Team Player

degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable.

Technology Requirements

Required:

in SQL and Enterprise Data Warehousing

in Azure or similar cloud technologies

in building out ELT (Extract Load Transform) solutions

in SQL Server, Azure Synapse or similar.

in writing SQL Queries

Preferred:

of one or more modern database design and Reporting Data frameworks such as ELT, ETL or similar.
