AV Project Manger

The Audio Visual Project Manager will be responsible for the overall implementation and execution of audio visual integration projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals within agreed timelines and within agreed budgets.

Responsibilities

· This position will be responsible for overseeing the Installation department for the local market to ensure all jobs are completed with optimal results in a timely and cost effective manner

· Ensures a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external clients by supporting the organization’s strategic goals, while constantly measuring processes/procedures to improve the overall profitability of operations

· Manage all phases of AV installations/projects including budgetary requirements

· Direct supervision of field teams and expected to motivate, praise, mentor and coach on performance issues

· Manage project scheduling and identify and solve issues that will impact the project and schedule

· Provide regular project updates/communication with Clients, Sales, and Operations

· Oversee and responsible for coordination of metrics/completion/updates of all installation projects

· Participate in contract process and project administration when needed/required

· Ensure that project deliverables and milestones are met including close out documentation and punch list items

· Attend construction meetings

· Perform pre-installation site surveys

· Maintain and authorize/complete material stock/order

· Quality control/check on finished product/projects including testing

· Post project walkthrough with client communicating system performance to the customer

· Assist with product returns and change order process

· Help define and work with management on AV installation best practices and refine associated procedures, templates, tools, and documentation

Requirements

· 5+ years of installation and field experience.

· 2+ years’ experience managing large, high-profile projects and crews.

· Previous AV project management experience

· Adept at reading blueprints and associated building information.

· Technical understanding of AV systems such as: Crestron, Extron, Qsys, Audinate/Dante
