We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and methodical Business Analyst based in Houston, Texas. The role involves driving the growth and success of our organization through the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. You will be expected to research progressive systems solutions, evaluate their impacts, and lead in the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through the evaluation of real-time data

• Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

• Create and implement precise management plans for every project, ensuring transparent communication at all levels

• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development

• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production to ensure maximum usability

• Use Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking

• Utilize database management skills to manage and manipulate data

• Apply knowledge of EO/IR systems to analyze and interpret data

• Perform Gap Analysis to identify areas for improvement or enhancement

• Use Informatica tools for data integration and management

• Implement AB Testing to compare the performance of different system features

• Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to manage and control software and product development

• Understand Business Process Functions to improve business efficiency

• Prepare Business Requirement Document to capture the business needs

• Participate in Design phases to ensure the system design meets the business requirements.• Proficient in Atlassian Jira

• Extensive knowledge in Database and EO/IR systems

• Experience in Gap Analysis and Informatica

• Proficient in AB Testing and Agile Scrum

• Understanding of Business Process Functions

• Ability to draft a Business Requirement Document

• Experience in Design

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

• Strong understanding of business financials and reporting

• Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques

• Ability to understand and create process flow diagrams

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Good interpersonal skills and comfortable interfacing with all levels of management.
