Network Flow Data Analyst

REMOTE

Public Trust needed

MAIN AREAS OF POSITION:

Zero Trust Architecture ( ZTA) -- core zero trust pillar fundamentals

Experience with the Illumio platform – analysis of data flows

ServiceNow

COTS – Commercial off-the-shelf software & hardware products

POA&M – Plan of Action and Milestones

Program Requirements:

· Network Data Flow Analyst, supporting Zero Trust: Support the FDIC establish micro-segmentation policies through the analysis of existing, desired, and undesired data flows as visualized through the Illumio platform.

· Develop written and procedural policy that drives governance associated to the approval or restriction of data flows (e.g. help establish the approved decision parameters for data patterns or network flows for the FDIC that conform with ZT standards).

· Integrate existing governance process with newly required process to streamline FDIC decision making (e.g. help combine the Firewall Change request process, with the newly developed micro-segmentation request process – OJT expected).

· Support review of PPSM under the RMF construct and identity the gaps as it relates to actual traffic flows observed through Illumio

· Illumio experience or ability to quickly ramp up.

· ServiceNow experience or ability to quickly ramp up

· Very strong oral and coordinative ability (direct engagement with: Application Owners, Program Leadership, Executives)

· Hours: 20-40 hrs/wk, through 31-Dec-2024 (ability to fund into 2025 uncertain)

· Need = Immediate

LCAT Quals:

· BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

· 5+ years of related work experience with progressively increasing responsibility.

· Advanced knowledge of security technologies/tools and other areas of ZTA discipline (concepts, pillars, services, policies)

· Advanced knowledge of Government wide policies as it relates to ZTA initiatives (previous government experience preferred)

· Advanced knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies and understanding of requirements ideation processes

· Advanced proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral)

· Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis, trending, forecasting, and financial analysis.

· Advanced proficiency using various Microsoft Office desktop products.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong logic and analytical skills

· Organized and detailed documentation skills

· Strong work ethic with a focus on quality, results and customer satisfaction

· Excellent understanding of IT roadmaps, business analysis, and product management
