Warehouse Associate Forklift

Job Description

We are seeking an experience warehouse associate responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Safely load, unload, sort, and stage inbound trucks and containers, using both manual and power industrial trucks.

Transport products, accurately pull/prep orders for shipment and returns, including processing return authorizations (RA).

Read and prepare supply orders, pull materials, and pack boxes. Place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate them to a holding/shipping area. Reorganize pallet racking systems as needed.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or product code.

Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 30-60 lbs, occasionally lifting and/or moving objects weighing 70-120 lbs.

Communicate any issues with specific shipping, delivery, packaging, and tagging requirements to customer care, Warehouse Manager, or General Manager.

Respond to internal and external customer requests promptly.

Assist in performing inventory cycle counts.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat. Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

Safely operate all warehouse PIT equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, claim trucks, and pallet jacks.

Wear all proper safety equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales personnel, and internal staff.

Excellent time management skills.

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Ability to pass forklift and picker certification.

Dependable and reliable.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

2-3 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
