Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician

Location: Queens, NY

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is searching for an Internal Medicine Physician for one of our clients located in Queens, NY. Our client is a leading healthcare facility that serves a large, non-profit, self-funded union/multi-employer benefit plan in Queens, NY. They handle around 50,000 visits yearly for a variety of services.

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will provide the highest quality care to patients and will be committed to building strong doctor-patient relationships.

Schedule: 40-hour week with some Saturday. 40 clinical hours seeing patients, ample administrative hours built in included for routine documentation and follow-up calls.

Hours: 7:00AM-7:00PM Monday-Friday, and 8:00AM-3:00PM Saturdays, Closed Sunday. Physicians share coverage of later hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

Providing primary care to patients in the outpatient setting

Building strong doctor-patient relationships

Participating in our client's unique Cardio Prevention Program

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to patients

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records

Participating in continuing medical education activities

Working some Saturdays

Qualifications:

Current ABIM certification in Internal Medicine

NYS Medical License Registration

Current D.E.A. Registration

Demonstrated dedication to patient care, preferably with an academic background

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual Compensation: $234,279.20 (base $220,000 per year plus weekly FICA Reimbursement)
