Industrial Electrician (NETA Certified) - Levels 2, 3, & 4

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and NETA certified Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, equipment, and components in industrial settings. As a NETA certified professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical systems while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in industrial facilities.

2. Testing and Diagnostics: Conduct comprehensive testing, inspection, and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify faults, defects, or potential hazards.

3. NETA Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to NETA (International Electrical Testing Association) standards and procedures in all testing, maintenance, and repair activities.

4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of testing results, maintenance activities, and repairs performed. Generate detailed reports as required by NETA standards and client specifications.

5. Equipment Calibration: Calibrate and adjust electrical testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing procedures.

6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions for electrical issues.

8. Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices. Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' skills and knowledge in electrical systems and maintenance practices.

Requirements:

1. NETA Certification: Hold NETA certification at Levels 2, 3, and 4, demonstrating proficiency in electrical testing, maintenance, and repair according to industry standards.

2. Electrical Expertise: Extensive experience and technical expertise in industrial electrical systems, components, and equipment.

3. Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.

4. Safety Consciousness: Prioritize safety in all aspects of work, with a thorough understanding of electrical safety protocols and procedures.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information, document procedures, and interact with team members and clients.

6. Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and contribute to achieving collective goals.

7. Flexibility: Adaptability to changing priorities, schedules, and work environments in dynamic industrial settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Additional Certifications: Possession of additional certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, NFPA 70E, or First Aid/CPR is advantageous.

2. Experience with PLCs: Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems.

3. Project Management Skills: Experience in project management or coordination of electrical maintenance projects.
