We are seeking a seasoned Property Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial transactions related to our properties, including but not limited to, income and expenses, capital improvements, depreciation, and disposals.

2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

4. Use Voyager software to manage property accounting tasks, including rent rolls, lease administration, and property management.

5. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and IFRS.

6. Collaborate with the property management team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in the construction industry.

3. Proficiency in Voyager or a similar property management software is a must.

4. Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and IFRS.

5. Excellent skills in managing accounts payable and receivable.

6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
