Applicants should be able to commute to our clients located in the Bronx, NY.

Responsibilities:

Assist Jamaican clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.

Respect and honor Jamaican cultural traditions, customs, and preferences in all aspects of care delivery.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.

Document client observations, activities, and progress accurately and timely.

Requirements:

Must be of Jamaican descent or have a deep understanding and appreciation of Jamaican culture, traditions, and customs.

Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable transportation (if applicable).
