Role Responsibilities:
Manage the nursing care of critically ill patients in line with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
Carry out physician orders, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
Provide ventilator and respiratory management for patients.
Coordinate patient care across multiple disciplines.
Educate patients and their families.
Participate in discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Mentor and guide new staff members while adhering to safety precautions.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
Licensure: Florida RN license or compact licensure (if holding a compact license, FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire).
Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (required), CCRN (preferred).
Experience: Acute care experience mandatory, prior experience in critical care preferred.
