We are actively searching for an Oncology Infusion RN. This position uses a holistic approach to identify the biophysical, psychosocial, cultural and behavioral needs of patients of various ages and diagnoses throughout the continuum of care. Develops plan of care pertinent to patient needs. Individualizes care plan based on age, diagnosis, physical abilities, cognitive levels, psychosocial concerns and cultural needs of the patients. Documents plan of care on appropriate forms. Initiates discharge planning on the day of admission. Documents discharge planning on appropriate forms. Plans patient care involving health care members, patient and/or significant others. Acts as a patient advocate. Sets priorities and organizes work effectively. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory and practice and its application in the care of patients. Exercises judgement in the interpretation and implementation of orders. Recognizes the need to be flexible and utilizes alternative actions, if necessary, when implementing the care plan.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a current MD State RN license, American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required. BSN required. Must possess Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate / Provider Card (ONS). Oncology Certification (ONCC) within two years of hire date, preferred. This position requires 1-2 year's of oncology experience. Provides care to medical oncology patients while also assisting with staffing, problems solving, performance improvement.
