Bookkeeper - Parttime at Rocky Mount State Historic Site

Rocky Mount State Historic Site in Piney Flats, TN is looking for one bookkeeper - parttime to join our team. We are located on Rocky Mount 200 Hyder Hill Road.

Job Details:

Flexible working hours.

2-3 days a week

Responsibilities

Payroll Management: Process and manage payroll accurately and on time.

Timekeeping: Maintain precise records of employee hours and attendance.

Reconciliation: Reconcile the books regularly to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Weekly Deposits: Handle weekly bank deposits promptly and efficiently.

Donor Receipts: Manage donor receipts and ensure proper recording and acknowledgment of contributions.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and handle collections.

Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

Strong knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Compensation is $12.00 - $16.00/hour.
