Salary

Case Manager I: $46,770.07 - $53,777.32 annual salary based on experience.

Case Manager II: $52,823.99 - $60,452.92 annual salary based on experience.

Case Manager III: $55,160.44 - $63,424.75 annual salary based on experience.

Role:

Full-time case manager will provide assessment, case management, motivational interviewing, recovery planning and crisis intervention services to people with substance use needs in afterhours Substance Abuse Engagement Center. Many consumers will also have co-occurring mental health needs. This innovative recovery center fills community service gaps, meets people where they are, and allows great opportunities for creativity. Case managers must function well as part of a team and have good knowledge of community resources. Case managers must have strong engagement skills and nonjudgmental approach. Case managers must be able to work second or third shifts on weekdays and any shift on weekends. Case managers work under the supervision of the Mental Health Program Director and Program Coordinator.

Case managers are preferred to have experience in treating adults with substance use needs and/or co-occurring mental health needs. All work hours are outside typical business hours. Second shift (5 pm to 1 am) and third shift (1 am - 9 am) on weekdays and weekends. Additional daytime shift on weekends (9 am - 5 pm). All staff will rotate schedules and have weekend hours. A valid MI driver's license is required.

Job Specific Requirements:

For Case Manager Level III: Master's degree with Michigan licensure, either LMSW, LPC or LLP.

For Case Manager Level II: Master's degree with Michigan licensure, either LLMSW or equivalent required. If licensed at LLMSW level, individual must obtain full LMSW within two years of hire.

For Case Manager I: Bachelor's degree in human services related field OR social work. If degree in social work, Michigan licensure (either LBSW or LLBSW) is required. If licensed at LLBSW level, individual must obtain full LBSW within two years of hire.

Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor (CAADC) or development plan is desirable.
