C2C Global Education India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of C2C Global Education Group, Japan plans to establish premium preschools in major cities across India. Our parent company owns and operates Yamanashi Gakuin University (established in 1946) in Kofu, Japan, as well as an IB school, an award-winning kindergarten (established in 1950), and preschools across Japan and in China and Vietnam. We will shortly be entering the US market. Fuji Infinity International Preschools integrates the practices and values of Japanese preschools with the globally accepted IB PYP framework. As we embark on our journey in India, we are committed to redefining learning through a blend of tradition and innovation. Our first preschool will start in Vasant Kunj, South Delhi in 2024. We are looking for a Centre Head and IB PYP Early Years Coordinator to lead our first preschool.

Roles and Responsibility:

The Centre Head & IB PYP Early Years Coordinator is responsible for the planning, development, and day-to-day administration of the preschool’s educational program. S/he will be responsible for the IB PYP Early Years candidacy and authorization. S/he is expected to have exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and analytical and creative thinking skills, in addition to having a genuine love for children. The Centre Head & IB PYP Early Years Coordinator will report to the CEO, C2C Global Education India Pvt Ltd, New Delhi.

Leadership:

Academic and administrative leadership of the preschool. Devise strategies and policies for the development of the preschool in keeping with the philosophy of C2C Global Education and the IB. Coordinator for the IB PYP Early Years candidacy process, ensuring that authorization is received as soon as possible. Guide teachers to ensure the proper understanding of the IB PYP Early Years practices and implementation of the program. Ensure that all members of the staff are effectively informed on matters of school policy. Lead the staff with energy, flair, and commitment, enabling them to feel professionally valued, clear about what is expected of them, and purposefully engaged in teamwork for school improvement. Plan and manage the annual budget.

Academics:

Oversee the development of a high-quality IB PYP Early Years curriculum for the preschool. Plan the scope and sequence for the different subjects. Planning and implementation of the program of inquiry. Horizontal and vertical alignment of all curricular standards. Professional development of teachers. Planning for resources needed for the successful implementation of the IB PYP Early Years programme. Work closely with the learning support team to ensure inclusive education.

Communication:

Effective marketing of the preschool, and overall responsibility for the admissions process. Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, ensuring that they are kept informed of student progress through regular and effective communication.

Recruitment, Retention, Professional Development:

Recruitment of faculty and staff. Organize an effective induction program for new faculty. Ensure that all EYP faculty and staff are appraised in accordance with school policy. Dealing effectively and decisively with instances of unacceptable or sub-standard professional practice. Plan for the regular professional development of the faculty.

Inclusive Education and Safeguarding:

Working closely with the learning support team to ensure inclusive education. Ensuring that top priority is given to child protection and safeguarding of students. Supervision of the welfare of pupils - their safety, physical and mental health, regular medical inspections, etc. In this context, the Centre Head & EYP Coordinator should be fully conversant with the following: Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (RTE-2009) Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) Other relevant Acts and Statutes of both the local State Government and the Government of India.

Experience: At least five years of previous relevant IB PYP Early Years’ experience, of which at least two years should have been in a leadership position. Experience of the IB PYP authorization will be an advantage.

Qualifications: A Master's degree and A professional Early Years teaching qualification.
