UX/UI Designer (Front End Developer)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer (Front End Developer) with a focus on UX design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in front end development, along with a keen eye for user-centered design principles. You will collaborate closely with web designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, visually appealing, and high-performing web applications.

Job Description:

Front End UX Development

Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages

Maintain and improve website

Optimize applications for maximum speed

Design mobile-based features

Collaborate with web designers to improve usability

Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers

Write functional requirement documents and guides

Create quality mockups and prototypes

Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting

Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

UX Designing

Bring a portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for user-centered design, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces.

Craft clear and compelling text that enhances user experience.

Understand product specifications and user psychology

Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback

Create personas through user research and data

Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success

Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs

Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)

Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs

Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers

Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

Requirements

3+ years of work experience as a UX Designer/Developer is required; front-end development experience is a plus

Hands on experience with markup languages

Experience with JavaScript, CSS and React is required

Experience in Figma or Adobe XD is highly desirable

Familiarity with browser testing and debugging

In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

Understanding of layout aesthetics

Experience in working with Australian clients in this field is a plus

Strong portfolio of design projects

Background in project management and research

Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture

Proficient in design software (e.g. UXPin, Balsamiq) is desirable

Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus

Problem-solving aptitude

Analytical mind with a business acumen

Excellent communication skills

BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Knowledgeable in Figma

Additional Job Details:

Set-up and Location: Office-based (Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu)/Remote

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)

Employment Type: Full-time
