Inventory Coordinator (Houston, TX)

Summary:

An engine manufacturing company is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for shipping/receiving parts, cycle counting of inventory, loading/unloading trucks, operating a forklift and other relevant duties as assigned.

This position will serve as the inaugural associate for a newly formed department and will play a vital role in establishing the company's new distribution center. It presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term growth within a reputable global organization.

Responsibilities:

* Loading inventory of parts and tools into racks, labeling racks

* Operating a variety of equipment which may include 5k sit down forklift, swing reach, and order picker

* Using RF scanners, and keeping track of inventory

* Sending emails

* Cleaning and organizing

Job Requirements

Requirements:

* 3+ years of experience working in a warehouse

* Experience with SAP, transaction codes highly preferred

* Ability to send emails using Microsoft Outlook

* Inventory experience

* Forklift experience

* Shipping and/or receiving experience

* Ability to enter data and utilize basic functions of Microsoft Excel

* Ability to lift 20-30lbs
