Echo Stress Technician

Description

Stress Technician under general supervision according to established policies and procedures, performs routine and complex treadmill stress examinations. Monitors patients at rest, stress and recovery on EKG and takes and records blood pressures as directed. Other duties include placement of electrodes, monitor patient for arrhythmias or EKG changes, and or symptoms of distress.

Requirements

High School Diploma or the equivalent

Certified Medical Assistant with 2 years of Cardiac Stress testing experience

BCLS and ACLS certification
