H1B and Perm SponsorshipA big part of the solution is around mobile POS and taking legacy POS systems and transforming them into multi-threaded, web-based API services. This means ripping the UI off of the system and reforming the non-thread-safe portions of the POS system. While these POS systems themselves are quite old, the technology we use to modernize them is not. We use Aspect Oriented Programming along with dependency injection frameworks and the Spark Java microservices framework to make the old new.

Requirements:

5-8 years’ experience with Java 5+ years of experience with dependency injection frameworks like Spring or Guice

5+ years’ experience with Java web containers like Jetty, Tomcat, etc.

Deep understanding of how dependency injection framework’s function

Experience with API development using SOAP, REST etc.

DB design fundamentals and usage of either hibernate or some other Java DB framework

2+ Experience with X-Store development or extension

Nice to Haves:

Experience programming against or implementing eCommerce solutions

Experience with AOP

Experience with POS systems such as Oracle X-store/ ORPOS, Aptos POS, Oracle Aloha, etc.

Familiarity with hardware integrations such as printers, PEDs, etc

Experience with Payment Integrations (AJB, EFTLink, FiPay)
