Freight Forwarding Supervisor
Description:
>Manage and lead a team of support staff.
>Oversee all aspects of freight forwarding operations, including booking shipments, coordinating transportation, and managing documentation
documentation.
>Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery.
>Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
>Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
>Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
>Bachelor’s degree in customs administration, logistics or supply chain management
>Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding operations, with a demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility.
>Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
>Proven track record of driving results and achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
>Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
