Painting Production Supervisor

Job Summary

Oversees all processes related to metal preparation, wet painting, and powder coating. Ensures that the proper procedures are documented, kept up to date, and adheres to by the metal preparation and painting operators.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for implementing and updating the standard operation procedures of the painting and metal preparation sections.

2. Coordinates with the Production Supervisor to meet deadlines.

3. Coordinates with the Quality Assurance section to meet or exceed quality expectations.

4. Responsible for general housekeeping, safety and 7S of the relevant sections.

5. Manages subordinates, including the scheduling of manpower, distribution of assigned tasks, and the enforcement of company rules.

6. Ensures perfect record keeping.

Qualifications/Skills

1. At least one year of working experience as a supervisor in the related field

2. Preferably 1-4 years experience in a manufacturing or production operation setting

3. Must posses reasonable analytical skills

4. Must posses qualities of a leader

5. Good communication skills

6. Able to work with minimal supervision
