•Provide advice and counsel to leaders on sensitive employee situations, such as policy interpretation, conflict
resolution, performance management and disciplinary actions, including terminations, and other issues
presenting risk to the organization to help enhance overall team effectiveness
• Evaluation of the success of the implementation of new HR programs
• Development and ensuring healthy work relationships and a supportive atmosphere at the workplace
• Research on labor laws, healthcare regulations, best practices etc.
• Leading of negotiations between the organization and employees
• Strategically collaborate with HR Business Partners, leaders, and Centers of Excellence to identify trends within
business groups and determine root causes
• Utilize strong knowledge of employment law and organization policies and practices to develop
recommendations and solutions, while balancing risk and business objectives
• Proactively maintain current knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Conduct climate assessments, develop recommendations, and coach leaders on implementing action plans to
address identified issues
• Resolve escalated employee relations issues by providing consultation to employees and leaders and
conducting thorough investigations of complaints. Manage cases from research, investigation, documentation,
and resolution
• Contribute to special projects, which may include the development, communication and implementation of
policies or new HR programs, trainings, or initiatives that impact employee relations matters
• Managing multiple cases at the same time
• Maintaining confidentiality of cases and communications
• Conducting exit interviews and following up communications as needed
