The Dispatcher is responsible for answering incoming calls from members inquiring about their scheduled transportation.

The Dispatcher will analyze trips, ensure a driver is available and provide an estimated arrival time.

This position is 100% onsite What Youll Do: Work closely with Lead Dispatchers to provide trip updates and estimated time of arrival Assist with Driver Assignments Maintain effective communication with members and Dispatch Provide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries and concerns Keep members informed about the status of their driver and verify all information before disconnecting Ensure that all transportation operations comply with procedure and eligibility Collaborate with Dispatch/Supervisor if passengers experiencing issues or have grievances Establish and maintain effective communication with transportation providers Provide feedback to leadership and Management on transportation providers performance Practice and follow all compliance guidelines Other duties as assigned What Youll need: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

1 year of customer service experience Must be 18 years of age or older Even better if you have...

2+ years in transportation routing, dispatching, and scheduling expertise, preferred 1 year experience working with the applicable transit scheduling system, preferred Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, including weather-related disruptions, unexpected delays, or unforeseen issues Seek opportunities to enhance transportation processes, streamline operations, and improve efficiency Ability to communicate clearly with clients, drivers, and vendors Ability to work well with others and be a team player Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of GPS and GIS systems preferred Good organizational skills Detail oriented Ability to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely manner Skilled in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications Must be able to demonstrate effective use of scheduling software, communication and data analysis skills
