Serve as the main greeter for the Career Development Center, welcoming students, faculty, staff, community members and visiting employers and professionals
Responsibilities
Greet each individual as they enter the office
Post all job listings and events as requested
Assist students with Handshake and the Focus2 Assessment
Assist students with setting up appointments
Answer phones, direct traffic, assist with event set-up and file students/employer records.
Additional Job Duties based on experience:
Lead training sessions for new and returning student workers
Update student worker policies for future use Qualifications
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times when working in the department
Maintain confidentiality concerning all institutional or personal data (including student information concerning ID #'s, contact information, graduation requirements, grades, etc.) the student may come in contact with while working in the department.
Ability to climb stairs and lift 20 pounds
