Director of Supply Chain

Selectek is looking for a Director of Supply Chain to manage and develop a supply chain strategy that manages inventory, demand planning, logistics, distribution, and quality located in Canton GA. This is a direct hire job opportunity.

Required: BS Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Management 8+ years of experience in supply chain management Leadership experience and ability to manage people in a high performing setting Experience in negotiation and contract management Project management experience 5 plus years of Estimating construction, or carpet, or flooring industry  Proficient in supply chain software Manage all reports for the team Must be detailed oriented Preferred: Masters Degree Strong Analytical and problem solving skills Prepared detailed Bid proposals and pricing taking into consideration material costs and labor projections.

Job Order Detail: This person will manage the planning, development inventory, demand planning, logistics, distribution, risk management and continuously improve the supplies for the flooring and equipment. This person would be part of the Senior Management team and would work with all aspects of the business like sales, production, and distribution. They would develop strong relationships with the suppliers and work to negotiate the best prices. The candidate will work with the Quality Engineer to implement corrective action, manage the inventory supply, and utilize forecast tools to optimize stock levels.

They will work with work with logistics and the distribution network to optimize efficiency and costs. They will manage all warehousing and shipment to ensure on time delivery.
