Job Overview

As a Business Development Representative at First Resonance, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and pursuing leads at strategic accounts to expand our customer base. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and scheduling demos for our Account Executives. Your efforts will directly contribute to First Resonance's mission of democratizing access to advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Utilize various channels, including cold outreach (call and email), inbound inquiries, and conferences/networking events to identify and engage with prospective customers.

Qualification: Assess the fit between prospective clients' needs and First Resonance's solutions through effective discovery conversations.

Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their pain points and demonstrate how First Resonance can address them.

Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads using CRM software, ensuring timely follow-ups, and accurate tracking of progress.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach campaigns and refine messaging based on market feedback.

Market Research: Learn about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform business development strategies.

Meeting Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualification, and progression.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in a business development role, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment. Experience in manufacturing software or adjacent technologies is a HUGE plus.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively - not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to people.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving impact and growth.

Proficient with CRM software such as Salesforce.

Experience with other sales tools like Zoominfo, Engage (or other sequencing platforms), Crossbeam, Kabal, etc. is a plus. Why Join First Resonance:

Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity and benefits.

Pay Range

$55,000-$65,000 USD
