Reservior Tech

We are seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and updating reservoir engineering databases. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity and accessibility, working with ARIES and SQL databases. This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, geologists, accountants, and GIS personnel, to support and advance company projects.

Type: Full-time, hybrid

Salary: $50,000-65,000

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update reservoir engineering ARIES and SQL databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Obtain necessary information for approvals and prepare and track AFEs and AFE Supplements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance and support company projects.

Build Spotfire projects for displaying and tracking key forecast, production, and operational data.

Build and maintain Spotfire information links to the company data warehouse.

Use Spotfire Automation Services to schedule and maintain various reports.

Perform engineering calculations and preliminary analyses for interpretation of relevant data.

Gather and analyze data to support management/board level reports and presentations.

Conduct periodic process and data audits to ensure data quality and consistency.

Assist engineers in investigating and gathering technical and financial data for projects; coordinate with other departments as needed.

Provide technical and financial data to support presentations by reservoir and engineering staff. Required Experience & Education:

Bachelor's degree

Coachable and someone who has the ability to work and problem solve independently with limited guidance.

Advanced ARIES, Spotfire (or Power BI), and MS Office experience.

Advanced communication and organizational skills.
