POSITION SUMMARY:

Audax Private Debt is seeking an Investor Relations Senior Associate or Vice President to become a key contributor on a high-performing fundraising team. The firm's Investor Relations effort has a high degree of responsibility, interacting externally with Limited Partners and internally with senior management. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations, Private Debt, the Senior Associate/Vice President will focus on supporting the overall Fundraising efforts for the Audax Private Debt business and primarily assist in supporting the Head of the Investor Relations Team in managing the fundraising activities, strategy, reporting, communications, and overall relationship management efforts.

The role requires the ability to understand Audax Private Debt's various products and vehicles. Successful candidates are creative and proactive problem solvers who can prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment. Attention to detail, quantitative analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a rigorous work ethic are prerequisites. Prior work experience in leveraged finance and/or private markets investments is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Head of Investor Relations with senior level projects and management reporting responsibilities, territory management, and other strategic business development initiatives

Interact closely and build relationships with the Fundraisers to support their outreach efforts, business development and marketing initiatives

Assist in materials and support needed for maintaining existing and new investor relationships

Working alongside the Head of Investor Relations, lead the management and organization of the annual Private Debt Advisory Board Meetings, Annual General Meeting, Advisory Board Calls, Investor Days, Webinars, etc.

Organize and lead the communication with Advisory Board members in preparation for meeting and other LP and prospecting events

Manage and track Private Debt Investor Relations Conferences and Events Calendar

Stay informed of market trends, investor preferences, and regulatory changes to inform fundraising strategies and tactics

Liaise with Business Solutions on ad hoc reports and modify existing reports

Develop and maintain deep cross-functional relationships with Investment, Finance, Accounts Payable, Marketing, Tax, and other internal teams

Articulately communicate the requirements and status of various high-level projects with key internal stakeholders in a knowledgeable, clear, proactive and professional fashion

Proactively provide timely communication and transparency to internal and external stakeholders on projects when required REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, marketing or a related field

Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience within a financial institution, investment firm or alternative asset management firm

Knowledge of private debt or private equity industries preferable

Working knowledge of CRM databases (Dynamo, Salesforce) or alternative investment databases (Preqin, Dakota), is a plus

Demonstrated track record of being an exceptional project manager with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

Strong proficiency with Excel

Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, communicate clearly and make informed decisions and recommendations

Superb written and verbal communication skills for building relationships and conveying complex information effectively

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong work ethic with proven ability to work well under pressure, be resourceful, and manage competing priorities effectively

Strong team player; ability to cultivate and foster solid working relationships with colleagues, including teams within different departments and offices

Results oriented individual, who has an inquisitive nature and desire to dive deep into the asset class TRAVEL:

New York, NY; 4 days/week in office expected

For New York City only: The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $210,000, depending on experience and title. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
