Business Development Rep

Mitigation company is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.

The Business Development Representative's job is to make sales by building relationships with business prospects. Daily data entry and communication with clients, customers, and peers is expected, along with daily field visits to existing and future clients, and providing weekly reports on sales / marketing efforts.

You'll be trained on a proven sales process that includes a variety of responsibilities, including running sales routes, assisting with traditional and digital marketing, becoming active in professional associations, hosting events, and pursuing leads when disaster strikes.

Responsibilities:

Building relationships and rapport with potential clients.

Daily field visits to prospective clients is expected along with convincing decision makers to refer projects to us.

Maintaining assigned contact lists and detailed records in our CRM.

Participating in professional associations, hosting lunch-and-learns, and promoting continuing education (CE) courses.

Hosting and attending community events to represent and promote the brand.

Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving sales territory goals.

Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications:

Proven outside sales experience.

Superb customer service skills, follow-through, independence and organization.

Hunter mentality.

B2B sales experience.

High-energy approach to relationship building.

Compensation: Salary $80,000 to $120,000 DOE plus 1% commission.
