Until Filled Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.25 hours per day; 185 days per academic year with additional summer hours.

Responsibilities:
The Non-Certified Behavior Technician will report to a designated special education teacher and behavioral analyst and will:
Accompany assigned student throughout the school day to provide behavioral and academic support
Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher and behavior analyst
Attend related service sessions with student (ex. speech, OT, PT) and reinforce work in these goal areas
Work with other specialists and parents to implement additional specified goals and objectives
Implement programs developed by teacher and consultant
Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs
Plan and implement all aspects of systematic instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environments
Meet regularly with behavior analyst, special education teacher, support team
Attend staff meetings
Provide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience required
Demonstrate knowledge of special education practices (autism)
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
Must be highly motivated and self-directed
Salary & Benefits: $18.00 to $20.00/hour starting salary range; consideration will be given to prior experience; comprehensive benefits.
