ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage a team of drivers encompassing part of the dispatch board

Responsible for assigning pickups and deliveries and service all customers in a specific geographic area

Ensure operational compliance regarding overall pick up and delivery performance

Champion driver retention and customer issues with the ability to resolve issues quickly and communicate effectively.

Ability to field driver calls and quickly resolve operational challenges

Answer customer phone calls and emails and provide top notch customer service. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years of prior dispatch or fleet experience

Knowledge of freight movement and geography of the US

Knowledge of equipment required for transportation and pricing of movements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desire to surround customers with excellent service

Ability to multitask and good organizational skills

This position is for weekends which Friday through Monday, 7:00 AM till 7:00 PM (4 days on, 3 days off) BENEFITS:
