Reporting to the IT Director, Knowledge Management Systems, the IT Business Analyst - HR Systems is responsible for maintaining and improving Bristow's HR Systems and HR processes. HR processes include employee recordkeeping, organizational management, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation management, succession planning, time and attendance and other Human Resource Information System (HRIS) activities. This position requires interaction with all levels of the Human Resources organization and with various IT teams to ensure that the established HR systems and functional processes are supported and that optimal solutions are created and deployed for new requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage full project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation Bristow's HR Systems
Perform analysis, design, development, testing, documenting, training, and implementation of solutions
Manage production releases while partnering with internal teams to ensure stakeholders are involved with testing, cutover, and hyper care actives
Providing ongoing support and maintenance for HRIS and HR functional solutions
Collaborate with Business Process Owners and key business stakeholders in the IT and HR to ensure that applications meet business requirements and functional specifications; fulfill end-user requirements; and identify and resolve systems issues
Collaborate with technical resources on Software Development and Service Management activities including product backlog development; incident management; change management; and release management
Develop and deliver system and process training to user community through webinars, videos, knowledge base, and other employee engagement practices
Managing interfaces with third party systems and HR data management processes
Frequently liaising with users and stakeholders to identify system and process enhancements
Providing status updates to senior HR stakeholders regarding projects and other work items
Working with HR leadership and HR Systems team to develop the overall roadmap and work intake process
Actively promoting global standards for HR functional processes
Ensuring the adherence to established IT standards, such as: service management, change management, master data management; software development life-cycle methodology (SDLC)
Monitoring the technology direction of the industry with respect to HR systems QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
A minimum of 5+ years experience in an application development and support role
A minimum of 3+ years of Workday development, administration, project management experience in a global organization
A minimum of 3+ years experience working with technical development teams
A minimum of 3+ years experience with ITIL industry standard for IT Service Management processes
A minimum of 3+ years experience with SCRUM or Agile methodology for managing Software Development Life Cycle
A minimum of 3 years working with HRIS data management processes
A minimum of 3 experience in HR Business Process Support
Good understanding of business process engineering, optimization and automation
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose information systems issues and manage critical incidents
Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet project deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
Willingness to learn new and emerging technologies and implement in a short time
Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
Self-motivated, innovative and able to work across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
Must be self-directed and willing to learn new tools and services to stay up-to-date with our evolving platform
Ability to communicate to non-technical and technical resources
Ability to be on-call for critical requests or emergencies
Ability to regularly travel overseas
Ability to work in the USA
Workday System Administrator or other certifications preferred
