Experience from SSIS to Azure

We are currently seeking a skilled ETL Data Warehouse Developer to join our team of professionals. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days a week of onsite work in Richmond, VA The engagement is expected to last 6-12 months.

Responsibilities:

Create and modify Workday inbound and outbound interfaces.

Manage interfaces using SQL Server (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory pipelines.

Develop data pipelines supporting data vaults or data marts.

Code processes according to established standards.

Collaborate with business partners to develop data mapping between systems (desirable but not strictly required). Required Skills:

Azure Data Factory Pipeline or SSIS development experience in both Azure and local SQL Server environments (minimum 5 years).

XSLT Development (minimum 1 year).

Candidates must be local to Richmond, VA, or willing to relocate for onsite work (3 days/week, no exceptions).

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Self-motivated, independent, and flexible. Highly Desired:

Experience authoring Workday reports and outbound integrations (minimum 2 years).

Familiarity with Workday Studio (minimum 2 years).

Comfortable mentoring other personnel on Workday technologies. Candidates should also be prepared to successfully complete training on HIPAA and PII regulations. If you have any further questions or need additional details, feel free to ask!
