Data Management Specialist

Job Summary

Performs a variety of specialized duties that involve the maintenance and security of a comprehensive district student information system, and the mandated collection and reporting of LEA data.

Consolidates District data from various resources and software systems to report to outside agencies, analyze for internal use, and produce output for reactive or predictive instructional and management strategies. Provides technical support and training in the use of data to improve outcomes.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.

• Professional experience in the field of educational computer technology.

• Experience working in an environment with children and adults preferred.

• Three to five years' experience in the development and maintenance of databases.

• Understanding of the unique data requirements in an educational environment.

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of relational database systems, utilizing a variety of

software programs to gather, transform and transfer data
