Job Overview:

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safety of pick-up and delivery of various types of equipment to customer sites. Some of the equipment may be large in size. You will operate different vehicles such as rack trucks, ramp trucks, or tractor-trailers.

Essential Duties:

Safely and accurately load and unload heavy equipment to and from customer locations.

May require operation of heavy equipment.

Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.

Drive the truck to the designated destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads.

Secure cargo during transit by properly positioning blocks and tying ropes around items.

Perform inspections of truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

Safely move and position inventory, supplies, and equipment, adhering to company policy and state and federal regulations.

Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any operational issues or faulty equipment to management.

Complete necessary paperwork, including receipts and trip reports, in accordance with company policy and regulations. Qualifications/Requirements:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.

Possess a valid state-required Class B driver's license.

Proficient in reading instructions and numbers, and able to write legibly.

Experience in loading and hauling heavy equipment with tandem axle roll.

Ability to make decisions based on measurable criteria, especially regarding overloading of the truck.

Physical Demands:

Performs strenuous and heavy work, exerting force up to 100 pounds on occasion, and frequently handling loads up to 50 pounds.

Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting, etc., with full body motion.

Competitive Salary: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE
