CCO - Crane Operator

Minimum Job Requirements:

Must meet all requirements of a Rigger - Cranes - Heavy Equipment experience.

Must possess an understanding of software systems used on a wide range of Manitowoc Crane products.

Above average computer skills, including Microsoft Office and how to use a shared drive to save files.

Must be able to read tape measures and other measuring devices.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Familiarity or understanding of the functions and safe operations of various cranes.

Forklift certification

Incumbent will be required to achieve CCO Certification after obtaining Test Operator position as business conditions allow for training. Essential Job Functions:

Use laptop to download programs, set parameters and delete error codes.

Perform calibrations on machines and understand test documents. Test documents include but are not limited to load charts, load test papers, log book requirements, etc. as per Company policy.

Daily use of crane and rigging symbols and signals.

Demonstrates flexibility of knowledge between multiple Manitowoc Cranes products.

Assist in the training of Riggers where required.

Successfully complete required software training for a wide range of Manitowoc Crane products.

Successfully complete all safety training required by time constraints set by governmental regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use tools or controls. Incumbent must be willing to work at various heights.

Education & Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

1 year experience operating heavy equipment preferred. Health & Safety Requirements:

Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Perform job functions in a safe manner.

Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company Policy for the job being performed.

Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.

Actively participate in safety and health training and demonstrate competency based on training received.

Bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management's attention or correct those you can.

Those with CDL's are required to have an annual physical. Preferred Qualifications:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Potential of up to $54,000 as entry level in this position.
